Despite what the directions in the picture state, I DO NOT use the pre-minced garlic in the jar as I like to use fresh organic garlic. When mincing the Garlic if you add Sea Salt to the knife or sprinkle it on the garlic while it is on the cutting board it makes it easier to mince (to finely chop) the garlic as it won't stick to your knife.
If you're like me then you will probably toast your French bread slices. You can brush Extra-Virgin Olive Oil or Earth Balance Vegan Butter on the sliced bread before toasting it in the oven to add extra flavor.
Also, I added the mixture on the toasted slices after I took them out of the oven because heat kills the nutrients in the raw foods and since I want to take advantage of the whole foods I assembled the toast after.
